This is an unfunded independent initiative to create ongoing, perennial awareness of and to promote the true importance of volunteering in our society.

Most volunteering campaigns relate to celebrating and recognising the importance of volunteers whereas #ShoutVolunteering is uniquely focused on volunteering itself and the under-valued role it has in our society.

We have outlined 7 things you can do, most of them super easy and quick ‘nano-volunteering’ tasks to join in this campaign. Explaining why we need to #ShoutVolunteering is task #7.

PARTICIPATE

• Anyone can join in and participate (individual, organisation, business)

• It is an ongoing campaign so participate when it suits you

• There are 7 things you can do but you may think of more, so please go ahead

• Make sure to use the #ShoutVolunteering hashtag (task #6)
